Mallone Saturday

Was on a mallone* mood last Saturday so I decided to go Glorietta to put some fun in my boring weekend.

Since roaming around Greenbelt alone made me look like a loner, I decided to watch Casino Royale. Watching this James Bond flick wasn’t a good gamble. It was my first time to watch a Bond movie and I wasn't impressed at all. It was a lackluster film. The action scenes were not fascinating. Moreover, I've have seen the storyline in other movies. ( ma-iinlove si lead actor dun sa kalove-team niya tapos pera lang pala gusto sa kanya, etc). Casino Royale was comparable to Pinoy action movies like "Alega Gang," "Bala at Rosaryo" and etc. I had more fun watching Johnny English.

The movie experience wasn’t pleasant as well. I was seated beside an old guy, who liked to cough a lot. And every time he coughed, I smelled his bad breath. He looked like Zubas Herrero. Mahilig pang mag-side comment. Nagsasalita mag-isa (Hindi ko alam kung kinakausap ako or nagsasalita siyang mag-isa.) He seemed like a gambler since he knew a lot about casinos.

The only thing I enjoyed while watching the movie was my Burger King Jr. Whopper meal. :)

*Mallone – time when I like to isolate myself from others and go to the mall alone.

Quote of the Week:
I saw this quote on my friend's notebook:
“Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away”

Funny? Quote of the Week:
"Aanuhin pa ang damo, kung mayroon ng bato"
